A Welcome from the Founder
At my school, I am committed to nurturing your child’s physical, emotional, and artistic growth in a supportive and inspiring environment.
Through my focused approach, your child will develop coordination, poise, grace, flexibility, and strength. Most importantly, I strive to cultivate their self-confidence, self-discipline, and self-respect—qualities that will benefit them both inside and outside the studio.
I take genuine joy in celebrating your child’s progress and am wholeheartedly dedicated to their journey. My philosophy is rooted in encouragement, as I believe it is the foundation for building confidence in every dancer.Whether your child dreams of dancing competitively or simply wishes to experience the joy of dance, I am here to guide them every step of the way.
Together, we’ll set meaningful goals and achieve them with passion, perseverance, and pride.

About Our Teaching Faculty
At JK Ballet, all classes are personally taught by our School Principal, Miss Judith, whose passion and expertise are the foundation of our school’s success.

Miss Judith’s ballet journey began with the Caroline Robinson School of Ballet, where she achieved extraordinary examination results under the Royal Academy of Dance (R.A.D.) syllabus. Her scores regularly reached 99% and higher—exceptional achievements rarely seen in ballet examinations.
Beyond excelling in graded examinations, Miss Judith participated in prestigious associate programs with Ballet Ireland and High Points Youth Ballet Company, gaining valuable experience that shaped her into the accomplished teacher she is today.

Her dedication led her to earn her Teaching Examination with the Associated Board of Dance (A.B.D.), enabling her to guide students through ballet examinations. Under her expert instruction, JK Ballet boasts a 100% pass rate to date, with most students achieving the highest grades of Merit and Distinction.
In 2023, a group of her students achieved outstanding examination results and were nominated to perform at the esteemed A.B.D. Scholarships in Birmingham. This tradition of excellence continued in Summer 2024, and several students have already been selected for the 2025 Scholarship Awards, competing among the best dancers in the United Kingdom.

Miss Judith’s teaching approach is tailored to the individual, ensuring every dancer—regardless of age, ability, or personal goals—receives the support and encouragement they need to thrive. Her dedication and impact have been recognized with nominations for ‘Dance Teacher of the Year’ and the ‘Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Award’ at the inaugural 2024 Dance Awards NI.

Beyond ballet, Miss Judith is a celebrated Irish dancer and the founder of the Judith Keyes School of Irish Dance. She has earned multiple Northern Ireland and Ulster championship titles in both solo and team events and is a regular adjudicator at national competitions. Many students excel in both ballet and Irish dance, benefiting from the complementary skills and disciplines each style offers.

Miss Judith’s passion for dance extends to fitness. As a certified Level 2 Group Exercise Coach and Level 3 Personal Trainer, she brings a wealth of knowledge in health and fitness to her dancers, enhancing their overall strength, endurance, and well-being.

At JK Ballet, Miss Judith’s unwavering commitment to excellence and her holistic approach to dance education create an inspiring and nurturing environment where every dancer can reach their full potential.
