Baby Ballet

Baby Ballet at JK Ballet

What is it?

Baby Ballet is a beautiful introduction to the wonderful world of ballet. for younger children , children attending will show a significant improvement within both their dancing and confidence over time, provided that attendance has been maintained throughout.

Who is it suitable for?

Baby Ballet is suitable for children who are walking, right through to those children who are not yet at primary school and wish to attend a fun and engaging morning activity with a parent or guardian. To get maximum enjoyment from the class we recommend that the children participating is confidently walking.

Can a parent attend?

The Baby Ballet programme is parent lead and a parent must attend. This allows a child to build a great foundation and sense of security within their dancing through the parent supporting their child’s learning. This is an excellent way to introduce your child to the wonderful world of ballet in a fun and engaging way.

Can my other children & partner come?

We have a ratio of one adult: one child, so unfortunately we cannot accommodate an additional adult... however your partner / another adult is very welcome to accompany your child as the additional adult on another week.

We can accommodate an additional child up to six months, for purposes of feeding. Please note that for health and safety purposes, this child must be in a baby carrier or car seat.

What is the course content and what does the class include?

Our highly experienced and enthusiastic teaching faculty deliver a programme which has been created specifically for this age group which will develop your child’s co-ordination, muscle-tone and rhythm. In addition to this, your child’s self-esteem and confidence will flourish as our programme allows your child to communicate their thoughts, feelings and ideas in a non-verbal way.
